"Learning from Experience" James Williams

I don't think he is, but I really hope Stevenson comes back for one more year. His leadership is invaluable besides the fact he is our only corner
When do they do the draft grades for these guys? Will he grade out in the top 3 rounds?

Didnt we have him coming off the bench backing up these guys that get cooked? Lol.. Dude is playing out of position and walked on campus as our best corner even overweight.. Wtf kinda defensive recruiting we doing, gonna have to hit portal hard to cover up this mess.

He started every game he was just listed as a co-starter every week for whatever reason. But yes need to hit the portal hard for probably 2-3 corners, 2 linebackers and at least 1 DE.

There are more that should get credit, but my simpleton’s view is that this uptick in results is due mainly to TVD and rooster on offense and and JW and Kam on defense. Funny thing is, none of them have maximized their potential yet.

Offensively line has looked more cohesive and performed much better too imo.

From your fingertips to Rique’s eyes. This would be the most important player returning, IMO, since Ed Reed in 2001

I knew JW was a freak of nature, but honestly thought he would take longer to become as good as he has. He still makes mistakes we wouldn't excuse upperclassmen for like his bump "tackles". But talent just drips off of him. ... Bring on Chase Smith!

Makes me wonder if scrapping a lot of the rpos, as many on this board called for, helped the oline. Seems to be a correlation between less bubbles and rpos to our offense running more efficiently.
Clark is much better at getting the correct protections called. He's more of a leader out there than Gaynor was, no disrespect to Corey.
TVD's arm has helped the Oline too. It opens up the field so teams aren't stacking the box as much which helps the run game.

Barring injury, he will get all the hype he can handle going into next season. Can he live up to it is the question.

Kids been great as a freshman, just keep getting better at wrapping up instead of shoulder blocking guys.
