I absolutely love Peyton Manning.

IMO he's the 2nd best QB of All-Time.

He changed the trajectory of QB play in the NFL & elevated the bar for what it takes to compete at the highest level with his extensive study & bringing the Chess playing element to Offensive strategy. QB's before Peyton were not calling their own plays & making audible checks with dummy calls at the line like he was. He's essentially the Godfather of the obsessive film study for QB's.

With that said, I just wish CFB & the NFL collectively would stop trying to force-feed this idea that Arch is somehow cut from that same cloth, when he's not. Sure they share the same bloodline, but that's where it stops.

He's not remotely close to being as talented & gifted as Peyton was, nor does he have even a modicum of Peyton's competitive fire.

Peyton was an absolute MANIAC who wanted to win more than life itself & built the Colts into a contender brick by brick from the ground up.
