I don't know why, but I read this in Trump's voice LOL.

But anyways, I wouldn't be mad if we hired Leach. I'm just unsure if he could coach here without politics being brought up from the outside....if they ARE brought up, I'm certain that it would affect Miami negatively if anything. Don't forget that Leach just had his controversy with the Obama-whatever tweet. A few of the households that he'd have to recruit may not like it is all I'm saying.

Didn’t stop him from winning 11 games this year.

So whatever he’s doing it’s working.

Alabama / Clemson / Oklahoma are deep in the conservative line of thinking and they are at the top and have no shortage of recruits committing.

Leach wins and he will win big here if we get him.

And as to “controversy” we’re the U. We invented swag and controversy.

Only Nick Saban and Urban Meyer And Leach have won 11 games at two different power 5 programs.

The guy always does more with less. Our problem is we always do less with more. He is the solution guys and I think he would be perfect for us.

And this crap about how he doesn’t coach defense is a straight up lie. Go look at his defensive rankings the past 4 years. Sacks, turnovers, total defense, passing defense, rush defense all are good if not great.

Outside of Babers, I'd like Leach as a hire. HS coaches in South FL would hate him, but who knows if that would be a totally bad thing?

I highly agree with your last line. But you're missing the point. Saban, Dabo, Lincoln, these guys NEVER speak politics personally, and people can say what they want about the area, but they'll be sheltered on a campus regardless.

The difference is that Leach is at WSU...nobody feels threatened by them.

When Leach starts to battle Bama, FSU, UGA, all of these big time schools for recruits, THEY will negatively recruit in anyway possible, which will include trying to pry at political differences by mentioning how Leach openly disapproves of Obama, and supports Trump, and hopes their **** sticks on the wall. All I'm saying, is that it WILL stick with some families
 
Do people think that the President of UM, a man who was born in Mexico, served in Vicente Fox's cabinet, and a guy whose family survived the Holocaust and escaped **** Germany would be totally down with hiring a guy who was stumping for Donald Trump?
