They get on him for his defense blowing leads because he's the head coach and it's his job to instill a defense that does its job in his EIGHTH YEAR running the Washington State program.

Gardner Minshew was the wizard last year; able to execute, while raising the overall level of play for his entire team—defense included—en route a program's best 11-2 run. (10-2 with Ryan Leaf in 1997 season was previous best.)

Without a stellar, mature signal caller—Cougs are looking like a 6-6 squad this season.

Always love that an offensive wizard who has never fielded a good defense in his life would somehow ever make sense at a Miami program that prided itself on next-level defense since the 1980s. Yeah, great call.

In 2018 Leach's defense was 42nd in PPG at 23.3. That is better than NC St, Oregon, USC, and the Ohio State University. That must mean Urban Meyer is a corch because Leach had a better defense.

Miami gave up 19.5 per game, by comparison.

That WSU defense was also 28th in takeaways. Miami's vaunted defense (the one that got the Diaz the job) had 1.9 takeaways per game. WSU had 1.8.

At the same time WSU was #8 in offense averaging 41.2 ppg. #8 offense, #42 defense. You can win a lot of games with that. I suspect that with Miami athletes, Leach would have a top 25 defense to pair with a top 10 offense

Also fun fact- on opening day of the NFL, 22% of the starting QBs came from Leach's system (either his or a coach who learned from him)

My solution is simple with snowflakes. They need a good beating. When we were kids we misbehaved we got paddled. At old school Columbus the teachers would kick our *** and our parents were okay with it If I did something where I got in trouble I got the belt. I had a problem with someone I would fight them after school. Libs stop blaming others for your problems and that you don't have a future etc. Guys its not hard, work hard get paid and you will become a conservative once you have to pay taxes.

I thought it was hilarious how you wrote it. Those pinecrest kids went to Columbus either because their dads went to Columbus or they got kicked out of another school and ended up at Columbus. My kids call it Codumbus.
