Leach interviews for Miss. St.

You act like he hadn’t won wherever he’s gone? Didn’t we lose to him?

He has won? Could you please list his division titles? Thanks in advance.

FYI, beating a bad Miami team with an interim coach in the snow is hardly a bright spot on someone's resume.

It would be fun to watch because his teams have always pulled an upset out of their *** with that system.

They would be the 7-5, 8-4, team that pulls one out every season against someone they shouldn’t in a shootout.

And they also manage to lose to someone as 25-point favorites.

Pull up his record since 09 and compare it to Miami record then you can make more excuses.

TT 10 year wins average before Leach: 6.2
TT 10 years during Leach: 8.5

WS before 8 seasons before Leach averaged 3.6 wins a year
WS during Leach 8 years averaged 6.8 and thats with Leach's first 3 years having 2 seasons of 3 wins

**** Mike price averaged 5.9 wins a season his 14 years there

So yeah he's a good coach at ****hole programs

Since when is being better than Miami since 2009 something to brag about? Plenty of coaches have been better than Miami since 2009, so I can't figure out why you're attached to Mike Leach.

Fake news. The NCAA added a game at the beginning of Leach's tenure, so he had 12 regular season games compared to the 11 that Spike Dykes played. Leach also dumbed down the schedule. Dykes scheduled Arizona State, Tennessee, and Georgia. A typical Mike Leach non-conference schedule consisted of Sam Houston State, Indiana State, and FIU. So, in reality, Mike Leach improved Texas Tech by about 0.3 wins per year over what the legendary Spike Dykes was doing.

The mighty 5-6 Georgia tam of 1993?? Or was it the mighty team of the PACIFIC a AA team that went 3-8??

My god that Dykes guy scheduled some mighty teams!!!!!!!

Do you even check what you write?

Oh BTW Leach had a stronger SOS than Mr. Dykes, you can go look it up yourself

How can you miss a point so badly? Dykes made the effort to schedule SEC and PAC-12 teams. Leach made his OOC schedule as easy as possible.

I noticed that you ignored the fact that Leach had 12 regular season games while Dykes had 11.

They were ****bag SEC teams and ****bag Pac 12 teams so who cares?

They played 1 good SEC team in Tenn

You all hate on Mike Leach for no reason.

He's been the best or one of a very few best coaches at both Washington State and Texas Tech. Those schools are impossible to really WIN at. He's got them all about as high as they can go.

StarkVegas is a tick up for both of those spots, but another place that is notoriously hard to win big at.

Mullen got them about as good as they could get in this era of college football as a 9/10 win team.

Could Mike Leach get them there? Absolutely.

If he can get some salaries for good assistants (something he didn't have at Tech or State), he should be just fine there.

Bc his offense is prolific and he should have been our coach already. He’s about to win at Missy St. I don’t think we have room to talk about a coach when we’re on number 3 in less than 10 years. He would have had us a 10-11 win team consistently. That’s why bc we’re now going to a system that he’s been running forever smh.

The man from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave is on line 1, he would like to dispute this claim quickly and forcefully

The man with 0 college football experience would like to dispute my claim? That is your response? Lmao. You can't name a successful AD that wants to dispute my claim?

If he has an excellent DC, he’ll win and be a top 20 team consistently. If he doesn’t, he will not win and won’t last 5 seasons. It’s truly that simple. He’s a legendary offensive mind, lazy recruiter and doesn’t respect the defensive side of the ball enough to get the right guys. He must get the right DC and defensive staff.

Taking the over on the Egg Bowl next year early..
