LBs still a weakness?

it's scary seeing a busted coverage after last season but it's game 1 with a new DC so I think toure will be fine going forward

the LB's played incredible and tackled well. they brought the physicality

QB draw is going to be problem IMO. Someone has to set the tone, I don't know if we have that LB who is going to do that.

Need to stop playing so much Quarters coverage so these LB's can tuck into the box and focus on the run.

Toure spent 75% of the game lined-up just inside of the slot WR.

That's a light box, asking for QB run. 🤷🏻‍♂️
We even did this inside the 10 yard line on one of their TD's.
I will 2nd that.

What was he thinking on the breakdown? That he had help? Cause he just let the guy go right by him and never took his eyes out of the backfield.

Hope we get a Roman breakdown today.

We were completely outmanned on each draw. I think everyone saw the third one coming but for the D. Should be an easy fix going forward.

Another reason why you don't want your LB's in charge of covering WR's.
In this case, Toure was in charge of that guy, and left him to focus on the QB running. (like LB's generally do)

They can't set the tone if they're removed from the box. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Toure took a couple of bad angles and had the bust. Outside of that thought the LBs held up well given ND has good line and 2 NFL running backs. We contained love running the ball and I thought popo was great in man against him.
