what im seeing here from Miami, is a coaching staff having to operate at a severe disadvantage. Mario and company are obviously uncomfortable soliciting talent to compete with current players due to Miami needing to depend on the focus of current players for Playoffs. Understandable but something needs to be done about the current schedule

The natty is Jan 19th. The portal closes January 16th. If Miami waited “until seasons over” to conduct visits, they won’t add any players through the portal. So either, the staff is completely satisfied with the roster for next season, or they are stupid and don’t now when the portal window closes OR OR Miami will conduct visits.

I’m going with option three. So we don’t have to “collectively hope”.

let me correct a slight error here….portal closes on the 19th….so new players cant jump in after 19th.

Teams can, however, continue to sign players “already” in the portal into February.
