Complete idiot

Sean Spence was a frosh all american, 4 years starter (banged up some soph year)...A 2 time all acc, 1st team as a senior, with 2 seasons with over 100 tackles...Berrios had more than 21 catches in a season once in his UM Career. Nothing against Berrios, good kid and had a real nice senior year.
Berrios made more critical plays at UM than Spence did...

It's a MIX 100%. Here's a few more recent ones. The list would be huge if I went back to the 80's and 90's. The top 3 alone are better than all the OOS guys combined.

Sean Taylor
Frank Gore
Ray Lewis
Warren Sapp
Andre Johnson
Michael Irvin
Edge
Olivier Vernon
Travis Benjamin
Lamar Miller
Duke Johnson
Ray Ray Armstrong
Kenny Phillips
Allen Hurns
Anthony Chickillo
Ereck Flowers
Artie Burns
Clive Walford
Sean Spence

Cortez Kennedy, Russel Maryland , Ed Reed better than those 3? It’s closer than what you are insinuating. Regardless there are quite a few Miami GOATs that are from out of state

Ed Reed was better than ST.........and Gore and Reggie Wayne are a wash

I am not here to dispute the greatness of our players but that statement was incorrect

Yeah...and I'll win...Its a Fact...Sure theres Great Canes from in state...but more are from out of Dade and State...including all the HOFers except Hendricks and Lewis..
His only point though (& it's a valid one)is it's a good mix. The more valid point wouldve been out of south Florida. But even that isnt a huge discrepancy. We should be fortunate we've always had such good scouting & development. There was plenty that both you guys left off.

@dsddcane....You know my Love for Fl Canes...more than anyone on this board...I left some out of state kids...because there wouldnt be enough time to name them all...

You're flat out wrong in your assumption. It's a mix of guys. However, the majority are from FL. Knock yourself out...https://www.ranker.com/list/best-miami-football-players-of-all-time/ranker-college-football

You still have guys they didn't even mention like hester, wilfork, rolle, the blades, portis, joaquin, buchanon, and etc.

Ya I would have no problem with saying it's close (i60-40 instate, but whatever saying "it's a nice mix" is nothing I would have ever argued with)...But this moron makes it like it's one sided...Then he puts Berrios on his list...Then he lists hall of famers, but doesn't list them all (conveniently leaves off in staters)...So when do the facts actually matter here?

Dre and Irvin were better than Reggie Wayne. Reggie wasn't even the #1 WR on his team and had Manning as his QB. Moss was a better WR than Wayne during his time at UM.
