Lawrence out for ND game

We should want Clemson to win by more than 25 right? Is that the tie breaker if ND and is both have 1 loss?

The reality is that the acc is desperate for ND-Clemson. This is the precise reason the ACC let ND shove a pineapple up its a$$ and then allowed ND to play in our conference championship game while not actually being a member of the conference. If Julio Frenk has balls he leverages that b.s. to get out of the acc. If they try to hold us to the grant of rights, argue that we gave the grant of rights with the understanding that only full conference members would be able to play in the acc championship. Since they are allowing a non conference team to play in the acc championship, it's a material change to the contract. There would be no logical reason to grant rights if the acc is going to allow non members to play in the acc championship. Then bounce for the Big 12, which has more TV revenue and gives us visibility in Texas recruiting (plus our defense would be the best, by orders of magnitude in the Big 12). F#ck the acc.

They may be desperate for that matchup, but they also have inviolable rules for the ACC championship game

While that technically doesn't matter, We should hope Clemson baptizes those twats by as many points as possible so Whatever analytics poll is being used as a potential tiebreaker views it in a worse light. Not having Lawrence will already hurt, as will the fact that ND gets them at home and we had to go on the road.
 
Good news for us if Clemson beats ND with their backup QB.
Bad news for us if ND beats them with their backup QB, easy rematch with Lawrence playing in the ACCCG.
Either way we need to win out.
