Latrell Williams

We need this kid, he runs a legit 4.3. Many kids can easily say they do but Williams definitely does. I hope he is one of the top targets down the stretch....
 
I know NCM is top wr in the country but I find him overrated. Give me Richards, Mullins, Bruce, salomon and then grab a couple athletes.

I am a coach in Winter Park and we got a transfer from Lake City last year. He is only an 8th grader but he is close to 6 ft and 175lbs already. He is a diehard FSU fan which we would all have guessed but I am always talking Canes football with him. An interesting note is that he says his mom's sister/ his cousin is former canes player Cornileus, Tyrone. All he talks about is how great Trey Marshall is but I brought up Latrell Williams about 2 months ago to him and he said he is a Stud and that he is all FSU once they offer. Nice I stay about five mins from winter Park. I'll keep it in mind to come see him play a few times the next few years
 
I will always have room for a Travis Benjamin type.

Those types of players have been a life blood of the program since the 80's.

Something I've always thought is that some of these south florida skill guys end up playing in less than ideal circumstances if they don't go to FSU, UF, or UM. A wide receiver with a poor QB or a running back with a poor line. If you had some of those players at Miami, all of a sudden they have a Brad Kaaya or Allison throwing them the ball and they explode. We could use a kid that could get over the top too.

Yes. He has major league speed and he's tough. I actually like him at corner.

Lake City Columbia has produced a ton of great players but it's usually Nole country. Don't know how this kid flew under the radar.

I think he is Laremy Tunsil of Ole Miss cousin...Country boyz always have a good team...the team that handed St Thomas a lost this year i think it was Deerfield. .well Bolles beat that team and Lake City Columbia beat Bolles something like 49-21..competition is pretty good

Have to agree. Columbia always fields good teams and typically plays good competition. Tape is impressive

These kids get 5 minutes of training before they run at these camps...at the Nike camp in Orlando my son and i were watching the kids coming off the line for the forties...about 85 percent of all those guys first movement was their ****ed arm going further back and triggering the laser

Tyler Bryd has officially put me in the mode of saying eff rankings...watching him practice at the Army Camp ... i would rather have Byrd the 3 star...than any...ANY of the other corners out there... i would rather 1 Byrd versus 3 - T. Mullens

Really want Williams to end up in this class regardless of what happens with our top targets. With how thin we are at WR, there's plenty of room and he'd bring an entirely new skill set to our offense.

Speed absolutely kills you take him no matter what and he'll scare every team he plays
 
You take this guy. Period. Independent of what happens with Bruce, mullins etc.

Before Corn got put back there, our returns have been awful since Hester.
 
Well said. Another thing is that our guys show up when the lights are brightest. Camp circuits are entertaining, but the real measure is how the players play at the highest level of competition. Tyler and Shaq demonstrated with their play all we need to know about how they measure up to the other talented players around the country. And, Shaq is going to play early and often. He is a cerebral assassin. LOL. Byrd too.
