Richt likes them too. Only except his are actually successful. He knows how to set them up and when to use them. Coley has no structure to his play calling. Nothing was situational it was like he drew plays out of a bag and called them

I've always said that the recruiting services largely base their rankings on who is interested in whichever particular recruit. The manpower it would take to actually rank everyone wouldn't allow them to turn a profit.

The other factor that goes into recruiting rankings is area / regional rankings that are made by someone in that region or area. Whether that's determined by film, camps, or a combination of both they go to the next level.

Then when all of that is taken into account the websites primary analysts determine the top 100, 150, 300, etc.

So a guy like this basically flies under the radar by not getting seen a lot or film from the school being released slowly. He jumps at the offer he has and then other people come across him, more offers, gets picked up by a bigger school, the sites then take a look and reevaluate.
 
I'll trust my eyes over these ranking nerds any day of the week. First time I saw his film I was like " he's a baller ".

Stars matter to a degree , but this once again proves how bs they can be

I like to watch film and base my opinion off of that. Film usually does not lie. Latrell's speed and elusiveness jumps off the screen as soon as his film starts and it keeps on going. Kid is very talented and we are blessed that he went unnoticed this long and that he committed to us.

I like him in the slot , punt and kick off returns. We need big play ability in the return game not 4.7 speed kids who gets ran down constantly from behind .
 
The recruiting services don't check every player, they mostly analyze those with offers, count on schools to do the leg work to find them, then they analyze them after they get an offer. That's why there's a good amount of 2 stars that explore
 
Credit to dugans for finding this kid. Looks like he may be a gem. Hopefully he can find some other talent like that.

Devante Parker was a 3*. Did Dugans recruit Parker?

I think this kid has star written all over him. And at 5'11, he is a full foot and a half taller than Bruce. So you can't beat that.
 
im sure some of you guys bad mouth Bruce were the ones blowing him until you now think hes leaving, just be happy Latrell is on board and hope bruce comes as well
