This.... how does a guy transferring from his home state, to a school 1,0000 miles away, get granted and the guy who is now impacted by that waiver, can't? At least tate has former teammates at UM, not sure if Fields does, and if Fields did use the racist incident as part of his request (not sure if he did, just saw rumors of it) then Tate should be able to say I no longer feel comfortable playing for a university that promoted a guy who covered up domestic violence to assistant athletic director.
