what’s going on right now is that we are so close to real success but with very little room for error and with a lot of uncertainty.
If manny stays and we finish the class well the defense is in a great spot.
If cmr makes changes to the o then we’re in a good spot.
But if manny leaves and the class tanks Shiite will get really ugly really fast down here.
I think that’s what people are afraid of.
It’s just really bad timing for him to potentially be leaving.

Dont get me wrong....He is good but if we played more than 2 quality offenses a season the numbers wouldnt look so good. But imagine us playing OU, Clemson, or any top 50 offense on a regular basis. I dont want him to leave and would prefer a real OC to be added to get to major bowl games.

While your point is valid so is the counterpoint that we don't play any of those offenses so we will always have a overly good defense numbers wise. We play ACC teams that can't go vertical especially in 2019 and a SEC team next year that will do nothing but try and run on us anyways.

Next season will definitely be a horror show of epic proportions. It will start with a twenty point+ beatdown by the Turds and that will essentially be The End for Richt (who never beats UF anyway), but the admins will keep him on so the GD Hoos can embarrass us again. If we play anyone with a pulse, it will be ugly.

No point to watching this chitshow anymore.

Whether or not Diaz stays.

We won’t lose next year because of the defense.

We will lose because of the offense.

Your funny. The schedule of Florida, Central Michigan who went 1-11 this year, then comes Duke without Jones and Rehming, Florida State who loses a ton off of a already bad defense, GT under a new coach/scheme, Louisville under a new coach, Virginia who loses 3/4 of their secondary, VT who is still going to be very young on both sides of the ball, UNC which is under a new coach and still lacks a QB and Pitt Panthers who can't pass and we just beat them with a QB who went 6-24 for under 100 yards.

Yea I'm sure Richt is shaken in his boots on that schedule for 2019. What's going to really make you mad (along with other posters who think like you) is that he probably will navigate that schedule to a 10+ win season and get an extension which will be comical. Oh well, at least we will have stability at the HC position for years to come even if it's a subpar HC.

Bias? If it were only bias, it would be tolerable. Some people have straight up lost their minds. Some people are so emotional they're actually comparing Richt to Golden.
 
Someone wake Richt up from his Xanax induced afternoon nap and tell him he's in danger of losing the only thing he's done right at Miami.
 
Agree except Larrañaga, he does the most with the least in the ACC. Our facilities are comparable to a high school gym.

Now, 7-5, lost your 2 best offensive players, the offense is in shambles, decommits at a position of need to UF, more decommits and transfers probably on the way, the one bright spot in the defense might lose its leader, and the most frustrating and disappointing part of it all is, it feels like the head coach is sitting there and doing nothing while his peers make necessary changes.

It ain't the end of the world but it certainly sucks. This year has really sucked.

We said the same thing about all of these ACC teams in the preseason. 10 wins shuold have been the floor this season.

Oh our D will take a step back. Problem is, our O will not take a step forward, which is needed with or without Diaz.

But thats my point....if we are wanting to be second best in ACC then we are set on D.
 
think diaz should use this as levage like hey make changes on offense and ill stay if not im out
