Kirby is legit...he was a leader for the head coach in hs...his dad...has photographic memory...played over his head in college and was a standout...coached pro as well as college..honor student...great personality....loves people and people love him...he insists recruits call him Kirby...I know of no better recruiter...he insists on excellence in everything he does...he is not to proud to seek counsel....and he has admitted to reaching out to a lot of folks for help....that makes him different and like another super successful coach....Meyer...It would surprise me if he does not become a success sooner than later...There is no better coach to mentor under than Saban...I know kirby's family he grew up in and his dad coached my son..

I remember 84. Jerzey. Paranos. Few others have kept their names on here. Cribbs is a decent dude from what I can tell.

It's a shame, but usually the solid, level headed posters are harder to immediately recall. The malcontent, infuriating posters -- basically the same guys that do it here -- tend to stick out.

Around the time of The Opening the buzz was Smith was a done deal to Alabama.
Perhaps he is but on the Miami side of things, in addition to what Ivins has been reporting as of late, people don't think he's a done deal.
On the Hurricanes side of things they continue to work the you committed to Mark Richt once already in the past why not again. Miami is also pushing a bigger need at the position. Alabama has several WRs committed and several high-profile players on the roster.
My prediction continues to be the Crimson Tide but Miami sources have believed for awhile they could split with Alabama on Jerry Jeudy and Devonta Smith and that's what they're still looking to do.
