That quote was BS anyway. No coach likes losing, in a perfect world, everyone would win a title if given the option. The problem is, there's coaches out there that hire people that they don't want to every fire, and that's the position Richt is in now. Some coaches do evaluations of themselves and the program in its entirety and recognize what they need to change. With Richt, we don't appear to have that as of this moment.
 
In order for Miami to make changes Richt will have to demote/fire his kid and Brown. No way will that happen. Only changes that will occur is if people find other jobs. We are going to be stuck as a program that wins 7-10 games annually for the foreseeable future.
 
And I'm gonna say it until I know it can't possibly happen.. the AD better not accept "just give me one more year with this staff and if things haven't improved, I'll hire an OC". Thats code for "once bobo becomes available...".

So has Richt told James that he plans to make significant changes or minor changes or any changes at all?

James told me that Richt has not conveyed that answer at this point.

“He has not given me any indication,” James said via text message, “and has not specifically addressed any type of change other than recognizing we need to operate at a higher level.”


Translation - No one is doing their job and this program is FVCKED.

There's still a possibility something will happen, but I'm already baking in not renewing my season tickets, not going to games next year, and watching on TV only for laughs and self-flagellation. Seriously depressing.

so we started this year with an embarrassing loss to LSU, next year we start out with an even more embarrassing loss to Ufag with a second year coach, ole Mork should be right at home there

It's exactly like the child parenting the parent and the parent listening to the child. Flake is the parent because he has the ability to reprimand (fire) the child, but the child (Richt) calls all the shots and tells the parent what they are going to do and the parent don't do squat to the child and cowers in the corner. It's the same thing as what's wrong with the American family today. Sorry if I stepped on any parents toes.

Richt and crew have definitely ****ed **** up that's for sure, but to be so sure that we lose to ufag in the opener is defeatist to say the least. ******* florida is not some juggernaut and does not have the talent of a LSU.. They have not recruited all that well the past couple of years. We can get our **** together to give them the beat down they so richly deserve.

sure, we absolutely could, but we wont, hence the problem, there is no indication that we will get our **** together going by anything our leader has said, according to him its all in execution his O is fine, therefore Ufag will know every play the second we line up

I said it a month ago with the Kelly Bryant comments by MR. MR told Bryant that we should have the best O Line since he has been here for next season. I said then what I say now, that doesn't sound like a man that is ready to fire Searles. Since MR has shown a propensity to scapegoat his players, I can totally see MR spinning this as "The offense underperformed due to a mediocre line with young guys on it. Now that we have a much improved O Line, the offense should run a lot smoother and put up points." Book it. MR will remain as play calling OC. Hubris is a *****
