Been reading posts on here for almost two years now and finally decided to create an account and post.
My current thoughts on the program are similar to many and I also had relatively high expectations for this season but reality hit hard. Year three under Richt has been tough due to his ineptitude to get the offense rolling but to suggest the program under Golden was in a better state is kinda ridiculous. Losing sucks and the issues on this team aren’t going to be fixed overnight. For the first time in many years fans thought this team had potential to contend for a spot in CFB or play Clemson closer than last year In the ACCCG but when you get your expectations too high you get let down pretty quick. The program is in a way better state than it has been and honestly the only way to go from here is up. I’m not saying blindly trust Richt in his decisions because he clearly deserves the criticism and fan outrage but this program isn’t completely broken or unfixable like some would suggest. Changes have to made and this is a big if (big if) if they are made Miami has the opportunity to compete. Don’t be fooled #GoCanes

Also I’m not defending Richt or an outright supporter of him I just believe Miami has the opportunity to be a championship caliber team we just clearly don’t have those player on the OLine or a coordinator who can scheme for our lack of talent in that area

Solid first post. I've tried to be cautiously optimistic due to the previous regimes ineptitude and Richt's history at UGay - good, bad, or indiffernt. There's still a glimmer of hope but some obvious changes have to be made.

I’m not happy with the past two games but you can’t deny the progress we’ve made in the past three years. the fact that people believed in this team has to say something. Being negative doesn’t help the cause but I understand why everyone’s upset it’s completely warranted. **** I’m still ****ed but till I die it’s still go canes couldn’t imagine being a ******* nole or gator fan lmao

thank the lord we dont have to play clemson, holy **** I always thought they would body us but now I think they would of goldenized us. It would of been 60-6

We have a huge talent discrepancy. Not necessarily for the acc. But as for as nationally.....Also you contradict yourself by saying the program is in a better state but we have nowhere to go but up suggesting we are at rock bottom. If we are in a better state we do have somewhere to go but up... it can get worse. This recruiting class SO FAR is pointing towards the latter.

For real bro I was at the championship game last year **** was tragic. I live in NC and went with my Clemson homie. I was surrounded by the ******* hicks almost got in a fight at halftime in the bathroom because they were talking mad ****. I just threw up the five fingers(5 nattys > 2 lmao) and said y’all have some catching up to do and went my way lol.

Our skill players are some of the best in nation would you not agree with that? We’re at rock bottom with Richt I believe that to be the case but is that the same with golden? I personally don’t think so I understand your frustration but would golden be able to get a Mark Pope or a brevin Jordan? Richt is a great recruiter that’s undeniable

Great recruiters get top 5 classes annually. So just stop. He's a good recruiter. But outside the top 15 is just going to give us another 20 years of where we have been.

I almost positive Georgia’s team last year had a lot of mark Richt guys so to say he isn’t a good evaluator of talent isn’t fair

And I would also say our skill position is not some of the best in the nation. We dont have an elite back and we dont have a 60 rec 1,000 yard type receiver. Dont throw jt4 in my face. He is nice. But he's a little soft and he doesnt take over games like elite receivers do and part of that is the qb. But no we dont have some of the best skill position in the nation. Ask bc or ****** what they think of our skill positions.
