Completely stopped following recruiting near the end of FAT AL's tenure. Half these names are vague. Obviously I know the kids that played this year.. Anyone dominate on scout team? Signed 2 white DL (next Matt Walters)? Why did we sign 37 OL? Will most end up transferring? Who's Terrance Henley?

none of them gets a offer from richt.

2014 had several last minute gets by beating out Bethune Cookman and Temple type teams when we busted on the top kids. How many in that class will be gone? Brown is he going to play? He has size just don't much about him. I believe some kids have a ton of talent with out be ranked just not as many as we got. 1 or 2 out of 85 but not 20 to 30

Henley was a late addition. Kid has speed and was a 2* from so Florida which makes him a 4* everywhere else...BS. King was a late addition at LB after missing on better kids. He was an FIU verbal before signing with us. Loftus...dead weight. Fines 3* DT that may never play as he was a NT in 3/4 that doesn't have the speed to shot a gap in Diaz scheme.

Let's not forget that Redwine was also considered deadweight by some since he was a late addition 3* that may start next year. Knowles may get forced into action as we only have four safeties.

J Jones appears to be another miss at OT. At least he has 3 more years to figure out how to block.

Sheriffs is our number 2 QB. His brother is the uconn starter. The good news is he got a shirt this year and rosier got one last year. This allows us to shirt Alison in 2016. He has a live arm and was recruited by Richt. Richt wanted him to walk on as he has the grades to get aid.

So the real dead weight:
Loftus
Fines
JJones
King (mainly due to landing 3 studs this year)
May be Henley and knowles based on who we sign.

redwine is not it that category. our staff is the only ones who gave him a bad evaluation. Jasir Jones i think was rated well too.

Nice break down thanks man! Mahoney>
DE from NJ we seem to be stacked at that position will he ever play?

Gauthier will play here and could push for starting OT. Mahoney may play here too but is more project. At this point, let's see what they do with the OL and numbers don't hurt for now. Hopefully by this time next year they push out the deadweight OL/DL to sign a bigger class.

Jackson is our number 4 CB behind corn, Redwine, and Byrd if he signs. Kid isn't deadweight. Mayes is more deadweight than Jackson unless they move him to S.

gordinier is a 3/4 Jack. They may move him to MLB or DE depending on his growth. Either way, he isn't needed for another year or two. I consider him deadweight because we have better options on the roster and coming in. He is a project at this point.

See my other post about the others.

Mahoney is OL not DE. See my other post. He is a project but we need to find OTs and I'm willing to give the coaches time to determine who is worth keeping along the lines. Now if we had time to land some studs then sure we may push guys out but he wouldn't be the first one, see loftus.

Redwine will play a ton next year unless we some how sign 2-3 like Byrd. He is NOT deadweight.

Jones was rated well but hasn't shown it on the field. I'll give him a year with a different Stagg.

Guys like James King and Henley will flourish in this new scheme because they have elite speed I predict. Esp King. I have a feeling that he will be a surprise.

Guys like Fines unfornately wont be here much longer IMO. He is a 3-4 DT/NG. He is too slow for this scheme. I liked Gordinier but will his skillset fit this scheme? He was a perfect 3-4 LB. Can he beat out McCloud and Pinkney for a 2 deep spot in this 4-3 aggressive scheme?

Loftus will be shown the door this time next year.

I think the rest will be okay.

How did Patchan look this year? Is McIntosh UM material? Thanks on the others. Was wondering how many of these lower tier recruits were recruited for the 3-4. (body types/frame seem to confirm that)

I think about 5 will transfer out of the 2015 and 2014 class. I can see 8 to 10 more openings for next years class

Somehow I remember King. Is he better than the McCray?

Henley I've never even heard of. Better prospect than Hope/Dortch/Davis?
