Go compare route depths , how many play actions and actual runs mixed in.

Funny, it’s like quick throws helps the ol or something.

Which eventually opens up double moves / deep balls and THEN your beloved play action Mr Enos.

Running deep / intermediate routes with slow developing play actions to nauseam does the opposite of helping the ol. It was so bad he even ran play actions on third and longs.

Maybe this opens his eyes and makes a light stay on in his head.

Enos called a good game. There were a lot of plays to be made tonight that our guys just didn’t make. But you’re right, it is crystal clear what we are good at. Get guys in space and let our superior athleticism take over.
 
We have to go with Perry. I wish Enos would just let him throw. With Manny running the D now we can take some pics and hold. I would rather gamble then slow play with our guys.
 
If we had an o line capable of producing a power run game then Penos and his play action happy *** would fit better. The problem is our line sucks balls. Quick throws and RPO concepts can do wonders for the weakest link on the team.

he called a better game, but not necessarily good. there were at least 10 calls tonight that would atrocious. at least two come to mind. A TE sweep at the 5? Second and one trying to kill the clock a bit and keep the drive going, he calls a pass play which is thrown incomplete to a ghost. a few under center, play action 17 step drops.

his red zone plays were awful

Agreed. The pass to the ghost was on Perry though. On TV you saw him tapping his chest saying my bad. The reverse was atrocious. I don’t necessarily hate the play design, but on 3rd from the 5 to go up by two scores, that’s what you call? Enos still has a long way to go. He has habits he needs to break if he’s going to evolve as a playcaller.

Hate to burst your bubble but UVA was playing softer having lost their All American CB Hall. They had a safety lining up at CB to replace Hall
