59-0 vs Syracuse and 65-7 vs Washington back to back weeks. I was at both games. Remember that **** like it as yesterday. Both ranked, and we beat them a combined 124-7.

Both raked from the top 12 I believe. One was 11th and one was 12th when we played them. Or played with them.

The only negative was Miami took so much crap for beating these teams so bad, allegedly running up the score, Larry Coker called the dogs off early at Virginia Tech and nearly blew the game. We were up 20-3 at halftime and barely won 26-24. Some VT receiver dropped two point conversion that would’ve tied the game. Ed Reed had a game saving interception win. Tech had the ball at midfield with a minute or two left.

Larry Coker was such a *****. You could tell in game one at Penn State. Up to 30-0 at halftime he called off the dogs and settled for winning 33 to 33-7. I’ll take the victory but to this day I believe that attitude filters down to the team, they don’t play hard full-time, and eventually that bites you on the ***. Almost lost at Boston College and at Virginia Tech. With the greatest roster in college football history.
