Looking forward to seeing our "under-5'10" guy take this kid on:

37-26 at the half. No Dewan. Lykes has 14 and their nation leading scorer not too good yet. (hope stays that way.) We been looking sloppy and frantic a lot, which has them hanging around, sort of. OK get some football in now :)

42-30 5 minutes in. Sam looks awful. Lykes hit some shots but 6 turnovers already and scary sloppy. No one looks great on either team. Amp still in locker room.
edit... amp just came back. looks ok

6 to go, no sign of Izuundu yet. Even if he is fine, if we play like this vs NC State we will be blown out. Up by 12 against a bad team now.

Looks like Izuundu OK. Bright spot today, 30+ per game Clemons is 3 for 14 and 7 points with minutes to go. Nice double teaming aggression and such have rattled him good.

Final 73 62, sloppy "a win is a win". Some mixed observations... Lykes scored 20 but was 3 for 8 FT and sloppy with TO's. Zach looked good at times but like others, had his share of mess-ups. Best news was the defense, holding Campbell and Clemons to 35% shooting (18% 3's) but in a way they held themselves as well. On to ACC!

Frustrating to let Campbell hang around when we shot and defended as well as we did. Looks like Izundu was cramping (again). He had gone to the trainers table to get stretched before his fall, and it appeared they were stretching him out again afterwards as well. We’re a pair of predictable events (fouls/cramping) by Izundu and Waardenberg from playing Amp at center in an ACC game.

We dominated the stats, if not the score. Thought when Dewan lawyered-up things might change. Guess not.
