I say VA Tech 2005. They were undefeated coming in. After we won that game we ascended to around #3 or #4 in the country. Of course, a week or 2 later was Ga Tech. The s*itstorm that is Miami football for the last decade began with that Ga Tech game.

Look at what this fūcking yeast stain posts. Practically every post calculated to put the program in the worst possible light. May as well have a flashing troll sign around his pencil neck.

I made another similar post about trolls just a couple of days ago. The majority fit into the same profile: dumb to offensive username, post frequently, and ask inane questions or make dumb comments designed to elicit a reaction from Canes that starts an avalanche of in-fighting. Best to call them out so that Canes know who they are and what they're up to. We might consider tacking a list of them for future reference.

Are you so fragile that you can't handle the OP's question? Troll or not who gives a *****?

I'd say the last really great win was the '02 NC that never was because the game was decided not on the field, but by a ref's misguided flag. Actual win, the BC game during the '01 legendary run. Canes set to destroy BC...game down to wire with Miami hurting and holding a 4-5 point lead (dont remember exactly)...and Ed Reed (with some help) makes an pick 6 return for the ages of all CFB.

Showed a team with grit in overcoming what...4 INTs by Dorsey...just an off game and they rose to the challenge...something lacking since the Coker era...

Now OP if you are a troll...get a hobby...get a gf..bf...whatever...but just try to contribute...where is that ignore button again....mmmmmmm

FrancisSaywer don't worry about, I negged him for you because I'm a caring guy

I remember that tech game and I would agree. I was on a 3 week world tour attending logistics conferences and I had just flown in to Sigonella, Italy. I was dead tired but watched the game at like 2 AM Italy time. No one thought we really had a chance and we beat the crap out of them. Can't wait until those days return.

To think anyone could dismiss last years Duke game is beyond me...The mighty fell, then got back up for the win...

At the time it happened, I really liked the woodshed beating we put on VT in 2014. For the ONLY time during Golden's time here, we looked like a real team for 3.5 games. We all know now it was just a tease, but the way we beat them, and NC, was great. It just showed what we could do when the TALENT took over, namely Duke Johnson. Man I wish he was in the class of 2016, not years earlier.

That 3 game stretch was the best a Miami team has played since 2005. And the. It was gone.

For me it was beating Florida. I don't care it was Golden. I don't care Florida sucked. We beat them at home and it was awesome.

The 2012 GT game was the last time I had fun watching Miami play.

How come no one is mentioning the 2014 FSU game?! I remember dvr'ing the game and ignoring all score updates, then started watching the game at 2am after drinking all night for my wife's birthday. Kept chugging as we built a 23-7 lead and eventually passed out. Never bothered to check the final score.

Everybody did that against FSU that year where they took a big halftime lead but ultimately lost the game by 2-4 points.
