Walton I see going in the 4th or 5th round the draft is so deep with running backs, McIntosh might be able to squeak into the late third round, but he should be off the boards by the early 5th round. Norton I see going in the 6th or 7th round we wish them the best and hope they represent the university proudly.

Its so irritating that dip****s like you keep spouting off garbage like that but I guess when you make $400 a week scrubbing toilets then $500k sounds like a lot.

After taxes, agent fees, attorneys, tax advisors, etc they will be clearing less then $300k in a job that has a 3 year average career length.

The difference over the first 4 years between a 1-2 round player and a 4th and above is literally $5M on top of the fact that a guy drafted in the 4th round and above has a MUCH greater chance of never even making it to the second contract.

i mean theres only a big difference in money if you're a 1st-3rd round pick. Anywhere late 3rd to 7th round, and you are making pretty similar money. The only difference is the signing bonus up front. 4th rounders get max of like $600k bonus, and 7th rounders will get like $60K.

so obviously the difference between a 1st and 2nd rounder and a late pick is gunna be huge monetarily, but there is NO guarantee the players will get drafted higher. **** theres not a guarantee they will be drafted as highly either. Returning for your senior year, when you are confident you could be a 3rd-4th round pick, is risky. For some the risk is worth it, for others it isn't. IMO, for RJ the risk isn't worth it and he should declare; but for Norton, the risk is more than worth it.

If you are talking about the 2019 draft, I agree and will go one step further, they may even find themselves being picked off in the 1st or 2nd round. But, if you are suggesting they will not fall below the 3rd or 4th round in the 2018 draft then you have set an impossible to beat clueless standard.
