Last DT update

Lmao, these dumb fvcks never learn

RJ, I can somewhat see, Hope Norton goes undrafted

Norton will get drafted but late.
I honestly don’t know what RJ is thinking. I think there’s more possibility he ends up a FA

But that difference of opinion aside, its as if none of our fans or players watch other games. Like these two are the only DTs in college football
They’re 1-2 round talent w another year in college

Only 23 DTs were drafted last year.

#16 was in the 6th round

The meeting with the coaches has been pushed to tomorrow, but both Norton and McIntosh will be declaring for the NFL Draft.

Pete,

Why don't we just move on and cover something more worthwhile as we already know how this is going to end up?
For example, who is going to be that 10th coach.
Anyways, thanks for all you do.

Norton doesn’t even get drafted or make a 53 man roster. Neither player did anything in the Orange Bowl.

RJ will go 4-6 Norton will go 7-UFA.... I see both sides you don't want to risk a terrible injury and not get drafted at all but like if they return they will improve their stock drastically. Good luck to both though.

RJ absolutely should leave. Hes gonna get drafted.

Norton, is taking a huge gamble leaving, but you gotta remember this is a guy who has been doubted before (told hed be a better OL) so he has supreme confidence in himself.

Also dont discount Kools reputation in the NFL which is about as pristine as they come.

Good luck to them boys and hope they rep.

lol the way this board talks about kul, he shouldve been fired a year ago.

Marcus Forston is a cop in ATL, maybe he can throw a word in for two fellow canes in a couple of years.

I by no means wish either of them bad luck but they are making a seriously bad bad decision. Whoever is advising these kids needs to be selling ice in Alaska

I'll never understand these type of decisions. Why come back and try to win a championship and better your own prospectsbwhen you can get drafted late round at best and hope to stick on a practice squad?

This University will never have dept at rate folks are transferring and leaving early for the NFL. Every year Richt will have a 25-28 new recruits. SMDH!

Listen to the podcast. There is nothing to report on that front.

Next men up...

It shouldn't be hard to close strong recruiting DT's with both starters gone. Add the incoming guys with the current top four and Kul will have more than enough to work with. The LB (2016) and DB (2017) units were far bigger issues in the past and things worked out.

I just hope the coaches learn from this and start recruiting with the expectation of guys leaving early (inexplicable or not).

McIntosh will be in the league a long time. Norton, he may surprise me and last long as well, but I'm not as high on him.

Good luck to them both. I wish they had chosen to stay, but its their lives to do what they please.

Norton doesn’t do anything special to separate him from every other big guy weighing 310 pounds playing DT in college. Good luck trying to stay on an NFL roster.

Both are leaving lots of $$$ on the table. Foolish..

You're assuming their draft stock would improve next season. Hardly a sure thing.

Well after the season Norton had his stock can only go up. I think RJ could have played himself into the 1st-2nd round with another year in the weight room and more consistentcy. Seemed like a totally different player last 3 games.
