Last 12 Months...

Today was awful. Felt sick to my stomach going into the 4th qtr. Despite the game today, don't let today over shadow all that has been accomplished in the last 12 months.

- Won a bowl game for the first time in 10 years
- Beat a team that finished the season ranked for the first time in 6 years
- Finished a season ranked for the first time in 7 years
- Won 10 games for the first time in 14 years
- Won at least 10 games in a row for the first time in 14 years
- Beat FSU for the first time in 8 years
- Ranked in the College Football Playoff rankings for the first time ever
- Won the Coastal Division outright for the first time ever
- Playing in the ACC Championship game for the first time ever
- Going to finish with a top 10 recruiting class for just the second time in 10 years

Today sucked and it stung quite a bit, especially considering where we were and what we've done this year, but again, don't let it distract you from the progress that has been made in such a short period of time.

Great post. This loss sucked for sure. Our flaws finally came back to bite us in the ***. Inefficient quarterback play, poor play calling, terrible 3rd down conversion, no run game, poor pass protection against edge blitzers.

Luckily, we still control our own destiny in the ACC championship (and hopefully a playoffs).
 
Been a great ride, the future looks bright!
Now we need to finish strong, at the least our next 2 games will not be against Pitt caliber teams.
We will play the defending champions and a top 10-15 team depending on the Clemson game.
It’s all about the finish
 
**** hurts cause we lost..... But **** it... Still got time to make it an even greater yr
 
Excellent post. Agreed that the program has moved forward and will continue to move forward. This has been a great season overall, but the flaws on the team finally came back to doom this team in a loss - not much RB depth, poor OL play, and QB inaccuracy.

My fear is the Canes could very well lose the next 2 games and I think this board might melt down. lol
 
I really hurt this afternoon but I’m looking at the big picture already. This is nothing to the taint robbery. I was in a funk for months and will carry that game for the rest of my life!

Great post. We **** the bed today but can't be a victim of the moment and not realize that things are going in the right direction.

agreed, felt sick for the rest of the game after the missed throw to Berrios, we acted like we were at Harde Rock and were gonna get a ton of chances
 
we've played way over our heads. Look at the talent richt brought in the last two years and whats coming in in 2018. this will finally be a a well oiled machine with the depth we need.
 
Today sucked and I'm not feeling optimistic about what this loss says about our staff... but great post anyway. Can't argue w it.
