Rumor was, he was going to be OL/Co-OC ... Maybe it's TE/Co-OC?

That would certainly be the way for us to justify the salary we'll need to get him from Bama ...

Wonder who richt had lined up for te coach? We know it's probably not Hartley because remember he was after Lilly earlier and Lilly decided not to come and his responsibilities would have very likely been a te/ co oc at Miami. And he still has to fill 2 spots on the staff at co oc/ te coach and wide receiver coach. Hiring Cristobal at that position would be an incredible hire

According to Barry. This may be why he left. This suggests that Richter has a guy for TE in mind and it also shows that Kevin Beard didn't impress him much in the interview.

It is better that Mr. Scott moves on to U of Tenn. I'd rather he use the quote "A wise man said unity beats adversity" somewhere else.

Wow...didn't know offering Scott WR coach over TE coach was a demotion...especially considering Florida offered him WR coach last year...don't think Mcl**** is retarded enough to offer a Miami coach as a demotion...So no...i disagree that he offered him WR coach to push him away...Probably liked what he saw in the TE development and wanted the same from his receivers.

We got it, you like Mario. But if Mark is going to hire a possible backstabber who whats the HC job at Miami, I suggest one who can actually help the program -- Butch Davis at any position PLUS recruiting master.

Nobody said it was a demotion but maybe he feels more comfortable coaching TE's since he is producing there.
