Larry Scott and Hurlie Brown

Lol. As a position coach? Todd and LArry both coached and recruited NFL TE's. Diaz hasn't developed his star trio and Brown never coached LB's at Miami.
Should Scott get more credit for Njoku or Hartley?

Scott recruited Njoku and Herndon when they were both not highly sought after. Njoku in particular he was on early and beat out Ohio Taint for. Njoku also had a big RS Freshman year and we knew he how good he would be before Hartley go there.

Never forget Hurlie calling B.S. on NoD's recruiting strategy.

Crevon Leblanc at the time I believe.... ??? remember some discussion one time about him in a coaches group text. When i was back coaching . I may be wrong but the thing that got me was that they still did not answer his question Was he a Miami Guy? an ACC guy? Going against cats that run in elite speed. Could he transition and make an impact like Jaquan. The level of playing top notch competition in his class. Then D'nofio had the nerve to interject stating that all his best safeties ran a low 4.68. LOL -Yeah we know how the outcome came in his defenses !

I had to watch this again just for the comedic value. Good lord... what a **** show that staff was. lol

Hurlie Brown just because of that video when Corch ‘Onofrio wanted to recruit that scrub.
Yes, still an alarming video. Brown was just dumbstruck that this needed to be argued. A bunch of yes men in that room. How did that work out?

Two Coaches who were great here who Diaz should think about bringing back.
Larry Scott is a great special teams and TE coach but he played OL in college and i could see him revamping this unit like it was under his tenure

Hurlie brown was a Great recruiter at LB and Defense and Really coached up those LB and DB’s he recruited. Most of the DB’s we have playing in the NFL were recruited by him

I had been a supporter of Banda based upon the play of Jenkins and Carter, then Johnson and Redwine. But based upon this years lack of production and recent lack of recruitment of big time Safety prospect's I have to reconsider. Tate Martell recruited Bubba Bolden (his HS team mate and 4 wheeling buddy) not Banda. I would have expected much more this year from Carter and Hall. Have to question Banda for the lack of their development? They both have more physical gifts than Johnson/Redwine. Where is the coaching up?

From what i saw and read about online his expertise is blocking when it comes to teaching TE and he has a pretty good track record there i would say and even now he has FL TE playing better
Would take Scott over Patke. Please someone in the know, tell me about Fields? Jordan looks good, but Jordan would look good if my brothers, uncles, nephew's dog was coaching him.

Absolutely comical. I had took a couple kids on recruiting trips when they was juniors (Keep in Mind Top RATED RECRUITS in there respectable class) AND THEY FLAT OUT TOLD ME NAAAH COACH I'M NOT FEELING MY POSITION COACHES AT THIS SCHOOL....LMAO

2 of them end up Committing and signing when they were seniors though. lol ;)

Lol yall dudes naming all these dudes that hurlie didn't even pull
Bruh yall losing it...
Hurlie was there before Bush even committed to us. I was at the school with the players when both players committed.

I stated this awhile ago in @Ethnicsands Post... Linebacker!

IMO...

the fall came when former coach MARK RICHT let go the last staff member in the previous regime - A good friend of mine and family . Coach " Hurlie Brown" Who at the time had LB's playing at its highest level. Helped develop D. Perryman Before making a switch to Rb position. He was a monsta on the recruiting trail and was a great closer. If i don't recall our last highly regarded star studied Lb core. Shaq, Pickney, Mccloud it wasn't Dorito's. From there it has drop significantly recruiting and on the field.

South Florida / North Fla/ Central Communities were upset that this happen. We all thought if anything he or Larry Scott would be able to stay but the cards did not work in their favor.
Friend and family to you???
You from Merritt Island way?

LOL, the revisionist history around here never ceases to amaze me...Brown was absolutey a terrible LB coach. I'd take em' back for special teams though.

You have to remember from a recruiting stand point Hurlie brown did not miss on talent going all the way back to getting Jermain Grace to A three star Rayshawn Jenkins, redwine who nobody really wasn’t recruiting. He coached our LB under Golden which underperformed from a scheme point but never from a talent point
Explain how you under perform from a scheme point but not from talent.
