Larry Miles 3 Star WR 2026

As Miami's class takes shape and the pass-catcher position remains as coveted as ever, we're cooling on an earlier projection of Larry Miles to pick Miami like his high school teammate Dereon Coleman. While the Canes are still a top contender and will host the four-star slot again sometime soon, there are nine other programs on Miles' list and he will hit the visit trail hard in the coming months. Miles has official visits to Pitt, Kentucky and Louisville locked in for June.
Two other programs are worth looking at within the list of favorites in Florida State and Syracuse. The Seminoles are among the newer offers in for Miles, who had a monster junior season at Orlando (Fla.) Jones High School and has followed it up with steadily impressive performances early on this offseason. The program has new blood on staff and it is pushing for more star power at the skill positions, so expect a Tallahassee stop soon for the elite route-runner. On the other side of the coin, Syracuse has been high on Miles since offering more than one year ago. Those relationships have the Orange higher on the list than many realize.

You say not a college star but then say he shares a lot of traits with a hall of famer.
Yep…. Did you not see “Maybe “? Made no mention of A lot of traits, actually I was just referring to his route running acumen and average speed and flash ala Wayne. Whether he’s a star or not in college is debatable and ultimately up to him. However, in my opinion he will be very productive. High 3 star- low 4 star is his current ranking and probably accurate.

says he won’t be a star and then compares him to a first round pick likely hall of famer.
Reading comprehension? Nuance is ok when understanding conversation. I was comparing an average 40 time, above average route running with Wayne. Obviously Wayne played on far superior Miami teams with AA OL, RB, WR’s.

May not be a Star in college, but he will be Very productive and will be a chain mover. Has a lot of Reggie Wayne in him. Every WR room needs this skill set!

I think he is one of the better slots in this class. Whoever gets him will be good to go with him. Their are a few in this class that would make me happy and he is one of them. He is not in my top 2, maybe 3rd or 4th. If we get him, I am very happy. That's recruiting.

Reggie was an amazing route runner and I don't see that with Larry yet.

Probably not, as we’re looking at a Finished product in Wayne compared to Miles who hasn’t even played his Sr year in HS. Iirc Wayne was under rated coming out of HS and was one of Butch’s diamonds in the rough. I was making observations to Wayne’s skill set at the same age and time. Obviously, Wayne developed Into an all big East and All pro. I’m not certain that’s Miles ceiling but there are some similarities.
