Great hire for Aranda.

Fedora is a Texas guy, he actually started out at Baylor for his first job in college coaching back in the 90's under Chuck Reedy. He was an analyst last year at Texas & actually helped Herman with the game plan for their Bowl game win vs Utah after Tim Beck had been fired.

He's also produced a pretty solid coaching tree a guys that came up under him from his tenures at Southern Miss & UNC.

He'll fit perfect with Aranda at Baylor.

Fedora is a ****. He’s been OK as an OC but nothing spectacular at all. UNC had a couple really good seasons on O, but that was Seth Littrell. As soon as he left, that offense died. Fedora had no solutions.
What about at southern miss? He had good offenses there too. His system has proven to work and guys under him have went and had success with it.
His problem at unc was recruiting. He wasn’t a good recruiter and the talent started dropping off after trubisky left.

He had some decent success at Southern Miss. I’m leery of any offensive “guru” who can’t fix a death spiral at his own program. He had no answers at UNC. And I don’t know where the recruiting knock comes from, as he was always known as a good recruiter.

Look at his numbers when he was an OC. They were OK never anything special.

Is an elite sign stealer.

Muschamp hired a former head coach to be his OC. (Charlie Weis). That didn’t work out. The HC must have more HC experience than his subordinates or trash starts talking behind the scenes.
