Probably has language in his buyout that protects the bulk of his UNC money if he takes a non-coaching type job like this.

More schools should put language in that negates the entire buyout if a coach takes an analyst job at Baga. Why? Because eff Sabag.

Couldn’t imagine Fedora was ever a serious thought in Manny’s mind regarding our then vacant OC spot. Who knows if it was Diaz throwing up the smokescreen, or it was Larry telling a reporter or 2 how he thought he would make a great hire. Regardless I strongly believe we selected the stronger of the 2 candidates in Enos.

But the experts here were devastated when Manny didn’t offer him the OC job. Fedora is old news and his best days are way behind him. It’s a young guys game.

Manny did offer him the job. Don’t tell me you guys are perpetuating this lie??

Per the UNC board, Fedora still gets his full buyout if he takes an analyst job. If he took a coaching job, it would get reduced.

So the move makes sense. Seems like he was holding out for a HC job and it just didnt happen this year.

It does? So he needs the $50k that the analyst job pays?

His buyout from UNC would only get reduced by the amount he’s making as a college coach so he would still get the same money in total that his buyout paid him. The move doesn’t make much sense to me...he played himself.
