Even though we're already set at the position for the foreseeable future, I want Davante Phillips about as much as anybody else on that list.

Logic be damned.

I don't see ONE DT on that list. That means Golden will have to go OOS for DT's next year.

Better not miss on the playmakers at DT this year.

After watching the BS Al and Company had to put up with down here during the last recruiting cycle, I would spend more time looking OOS anyway.

exactly. It seems easier to appeal to OOS kids who are starry eyed about South Beach. The locals just want to get away from the hood for the most part.

In general recruiting or specifically DT's ?. I hope you don't mean in general, just because you had some kids not go your way and a few coaches that don't like the way you recruit doesn't mean you should look away from the best location of talent. Granted Golden put up with a lot of BS last year and I agree with that, but in no way shape or form is that a reason to look past the 2015 class. One that could be one of the best in a while.

Does that mean Champagnat is going to be one of the top teams in the area? Five on the list is mucho from that tiny school in Hialeah. Que bola?

Here is 1 kid we should not miss on in this class... he can play all over the field... and if i recruited him he would do the same thing for me... you can play him at safety, CB, slot receiver, RB, he can be used all over the friggin field... love this kids potential... MUST GET!!!

Best prospect to come out of the "K" since Derrick Gibson. Gibson was rated the #1 Safety coming out of HS in 97 i believe. Johnson is more of a playmaker IMO.

we just cant miss on this kid... He is very popular in Dade and his peers respect him... he can be a force if Miami gets him in early...

Please dont bring up Derrick Gibson. We all know how that turned out. It would be the ultimate jinx for this kid to go to FSU.

Doesn't necessarily mean out of state. We got Jerome Brown and Warren Sapp from the middle of the state. I noticed that, too. A lot of LBs, a lot of skill players.

There's a couple of DEs that might move inside and there was one listed as DL. This list isn't definitive, these kids have only played two years of football in hs. DTs will emerge this year

I am a firm believer that at some point the dominoes have to fall for us again. We have to have another year where all the kids in SoFla want to band together and go to UM. Lock the entire nation out. At least in the last 10-15 years, we saw it in 2002 (the Glenn Sharpe, Darnell Jenkins class), 2005 (the Willie Williams, Bobby Washington, Charlie Jones class) and in 2008 (the MNW/BTW class). WE ARE DUE!! Dammit man. Lets hope 2015 is that year again. Because there are some studs in this class.
