If we actually ended up getting the HC would you take him as an OC?
Yea if the position coaches bring in elite talents for their respective position groups. He would do amazing if the talent was first round quality....we may never see that ever though for him.

Lashlee is not perfect but he's competent (especially with a good QB like TVD da gawd at the helm). If he only figured out what to do in short yardage situations he'd go up a level.

But even with Lashlee as OC, what this team needs is a competent DC. Manny isn't it. He's had some good moments in his career but he's been below average as a whole, not just with X's and O's but with recruiting. The U deserves better, way better, than what we're getting from Manny as DC.

Lmao
And corch them like Manolos defense?! Nah no thanks! We don’t need top 10 talent to win our conference. We need top flight coaching and then the talent will come
Apparently we do bc we haven’t done it yet. Top flight coaching isn’t going to magically bring talent. Everybody clowned UGA and Kirby Smart… crazy how all the talent he has acquired has made them look so well coached.

Tennessee? Oakland? USC?

He spent one year at Tenn

Oakland is a ****show with that family running them like it’s Madden

He actually did fine at USC, people forget he lost a crap ton of schollies

That 7-6 team was a tough season where they faced #6 Stanford, #2 Oregon, #3 Notre Dame, #17 at time UCLA, a 9-4 Arizona team, brutal schedule at Pac 12 peak

He’s a good coach who would need a good DC, he did some good things at FAU and is doing a pretty good job at Ole Miss

A lot of excuses for a so called top coach.
