Yea racist fans come from all groups shapes and sizes. I just go by character, the minute anyone speaks of race or politics and I barely know them I know they cooked and move along. I just stay in my lane and live life and enjoy the **** I enjoy.

Yea my dad would tell me the stories they would walk into the projects and do crazy ****, but eras change and that **** dont happen anymore.

Yeah, close to Hackettstown, actually. The attack happened in Washington. Warren County. I’m third generation Floridian, but we moved up to Warren County for a while when I was a kid and I graduated high school up there. Then I got the **** out and my family also moved back down to Florida.

This happened in the early 90s, but they still have problems. See the article I just posted above in my response to Dwins.

Florida is more racist than Mississippi is trust me. I was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale and lived in Oxford, Mississippi for 5 years during my playing days. I have been profiled by cops hanging out in west broward more than I ever have in Mississippi. Florida barley has black superintendents, principles, or black people in lead positions. Still no black governor. Look what they have done to the black families near sistrunk. I can go on and on about Florida.
 
This was just a trashy thing for Lane to do to Ol’ Miss. I hope they beat the brakes off of LSU next season.

The drug/gang situation has spread from NO East to Kenner to the West Bank. I moved across the Causeway to Covington to get away from it as have thousands of others who are willing to drive the 24mile Causeway every morning and afternoon going to and from work.Its a LOT safer over here and hasn’t been taken over by most of the things that have ruined or is ruining New Orleans and all the areas around it.

But to answer your question is it as bad as ‘82? I’d have to say yes but for many different reasons some of them that I listed above.

I lived in Nola East for 3 weeks while i waited to close on my house when I lived down that way. 21 days, 15 of them I got woken up by automatic gun fire. Prostitution on every corner. Definitely not a good place. I ended up living in Bay St Louis MS, and loved it for the year I was there. Absolutely not like the rest of MS.

A lot of that was people didn't think Shannon was going to redirect the ship after Coker. They were right.

Shannon fans automatically called any non-black critic of Shannon a racist.

Anyone that thinks Nola East isn’t a war zone hasn’t either never lived in the area long and for sure has NEVER lived east of the high rise….
