He was consistently winning 10 games at Ole Miss. A program that hasn't won that much since before the Civil Rights Act was passed.

You said no one wants to deal with Lane Kiffin...USC, Tennessee, LSU, Alabama all had Lane Kiffin as HC (and for Alabama, the HC's right hand man). The red flags only matter to the media and to the team that he leaves high n dry for another one...it hasn't disqualified Lane from much. As a matter of fact, Ole Miss would have happily taken him back, red flags and all. They are just mad and exposing him because he left them for a better gig.

Kiffin is the best coach in the school's history and its not particularly close.

Its like comparing George Mikan to Nikola Jokic levels of not understanding ball. What Kiffin did - match his win%, CFP berth in 6 years after the program was dormant since before Brown v. Board of Education is patently absurd to compare him to a segregation era coach lmfao. Also, far worse of a person than Lane on his worst day. RETIRED instead of coaching black athletes lmfao get out of here with this nonsense. Was asked consistently - for years - (by the same reporter) if he'd ever recruit black athletes and his response was consistently "never". Worse person and won 10 games four times in 25 years as Ole Miss' head coach when not a single black athlete was on the roster. Lane Kiffin won 10+ games four times in 6 seasons in a far more competitive landscape of college football. So what exactly did you prove wrong?

Fired everywhere. Wasn't in it at Bama when Saban retired. Never mentioned, never discussed. Keep ignoring the warning signs though.

Zero SEC championship appearances despite the conference being in it's worst state. The other guy won.

The SEC is at its WORST STATE? Worse than when there were no black athletes? SEC has been the national champ for like 13 out of the past 20 years and consistently has the most teams in whatever playoff field we're looking at in the most competitive the sport has ever been?

I know and understand Lane Kiffin is a scumbag, but its simply irrelevant to what happened. He was Ole Miss' scumbag until the announcement and now they are acting like scorned women and running a smear campaign. Even have folks propping up old racist scumbags whose accomplishments came while JFK was ******* Marilyn Monroe to marginalize Lane Kiffin's accomplishments at the school...accomplishments the school would celebrate less than a week ago.

But keep talking about Ole Miss wanting to keep him and how that makes stuff irrelevant. It doesn't. Just shows Ole Miss hired someone who isn't reliable at doing his job professionally. But hey, the Briles family, Bobby Petrino, Brian Kelly, these guys are living proof that you can hire any POS and they'll have success because who they are doesn't translate to what happens within the program, not at all...

Also, to respond to your edit...Ole Miss has had Lane Kiffin, Hugh Freeze, and Ed Orgeron as their coach over the past like 15 years...they love playing with the hoodrats, but this time, they fell in love. He belongs to the streets.

Now, they are doing a disservice to their players AND the University at large by not allowing him to coach. Prioritized their pride over the best chance at a real natty they'll ever have.

TrumpyCane thinks he'll crash and burn at LSU, once he loses 3-4 games all the **** will come out the closest again and he'll go to some **** school again and start the process over

I can tell you the fans didn’t want him to finish the season
Good riddance and don’t let the door hit u on the way out!!!
We don’t want him around our players and we don’t want him poaching any more than he will already.
If he didn’t want to be at Ole Miss
He can *** off and get out

I am in lockstep w other parents and fans of the school….especially going to a rival down the road. If it was to coach the Cincinnati Bengals or something, it may have been different but **** no w him going to LSU

Lane is a self serving ******* but he’s going to have a lot of success there. If he’s getting $25m a year in NIL and he gets a few elite recruiters on staff to handle the HS stuff so he doesn’t have to, he’s winning 10-11 a year every year.

Very curious to see if Blake leaves for Tulane (didn’t realize he was from there) who he goes after for DC but if he has Coach O and Frank Wilson on staff still they’ll be fine loading up HS classes that he won’t work hard to get.

It was a huge mistake for him to pull the staff or try to. That hurts the players first and foremost. It was also just a **** ball move from a petulant child. He had every right to take the LSU job and offer to coach longer but just go like a decent human being when they decline.
