Ole Miss hires Pete Golding as new head coach.
I love this move. This guy being named head coach allows him to offer full time spots to Kiffin's existing staff at Ole Miss. This could **** lane kiffin's attempt at stealing his entire staff from Ole Miss.


I am squarely in the **** lane kiffin camp at this point.

Ole Miss was actively trying to keep lane while also telling him he wouldn’t get to coach the team if they made the playoffs. Poor strategy. That’s why lane went nuclear.

I dont see that. You are telling me you would be ok with our coach coaching through the playoffs if he had already accepted the fsu job?

I mean its his brother, and guys like charlie weiss, kevin smith from miami , joe cox etc...i wonder what joe judge is gonna do

That’s what the AD should do. Hey, we love you Lane, but the circle of trust is broken if you sign on with our dumb *** rivals down the road.

I'm confused how this is good. Couldnt they just let him interim before full out hiring him? Has ever been a head coach?

Fair. That’s how you lose to Utah with the playoffs on the line.

It’s business. I’m ok with it either way. Glad he’s not at UF. Good for him for working his way back up the ladder to a top job.
