Lane is a savage

All I care about is how the CFP committee justifies its decision:

1) Ole Miss is in on the basis of their regular season. Whatever happens in the playoff (they will get demolished), happens, but they earned a berth; or
2) HC/playcaller and staff leaving, possible player opt outs. "This is no longer the same team, and therefore they're out."

Let's see, because this is the first test case. This situation is going to happen again.

It will happen again and when it does that will be different because it won’t be the sec

I mean this as a genuine question and am fully aware of Kiffin’s past and the reputation he has but …what about this is different than any other coach taking a new job? I’m a little confused by the reaction to this? Seems like people are just having fun getting high and mighty on Lane because of his past.

Performative any funny.

Kiffin knows the reporter is a talker who wouldn’t be man enough to take a swing in private, let alone in front of security. I wish the reporter was someone who looks like he could throw hands, and try to follow Kiffin inside. Security would’ve prevented it, but it would’ve been even funnier.
He followed him inside and called him a hoe again. Lane responded with “I don’t even know who you are” with a cracked voice and *****ed out

I find the biggest difference is the way it’s being presented by the media…treating it like a reality show

Not sure a coach has ever left in the middle of a title run to go to the rival.

Agree, but I would be surprised if Ole Miss was not a playoff team. The $EC is not going to allow the committee to drop an 11-1 team. And not only will the $EC defend Ole Miss they will lobby for Texas and Vanderbilt.

Meanwhile, the ACC is going to allow the outcome of a Boston College-Syracuse game with the determining factor and a tiebreaker for their conference championship game. Even if it means Duke could win the ACC championship and eliminate the conference from the playoffs.

Didn’t he offer Ole Miss to stay and coach through it and they said no?

The whole system just sucks. Needs to be a hiring period that only starts after the season ends.
You’d be an idiot to let a fired coach going to a rival who is trying to take your coaches, players and recruits stay for another several weeks.

After the bull Kiffin pulled at Tennessee, I could never root for him…
Now, he is just a clown…I imagine karma is going to not be so kind.
He will have 0 guardrails at LSU, tragic unraveling incoming.
