A few TAMU reporters have recent intel but it’s vip on 247 and on3
All the intel they’ve shared is that it’s going to be hard to pull him away from LSU, but if he elects to leave — the decision is TAMU.

Basically everyone thinks Texas and Miami are options in name only.

I’ll tell you what, if he picks Miami, he’ll be the only thing the college football world is talking about for a week straight.

Would be a coup.

In 20 years of following recruiting, I have never once seen a national reporter say a team is officially out the day before a commitment, only to have the prospect commit to that team. Literally never. As in, 0.0% of the time in the tens of thousands of commitments.

He's not committing to Miami today. If he would, it'd be unprecedented in the history of college football recruiting. As much as I'd love for it to happen, I have a hard time betting on something that's literally never happened before. But as we said, in the winning the powerball while getting struck by lightning scenario, this kid and his camp should give up football and become international spies. They're wasting their talents playing sports.

Probably smart for him to have Texas in there as a finalist even if he was never going there cause their offer is gonna be large. So take that offer and show it to atm and lsu and say match it. Done deal. ATM has plenty of money and lsu will pull some out of the local children’s hospital or animal shelter funds
