Let’s say that’s what happened. Let’s say he got 2.5M per year to sign. Something totally out of line with the rest of the market.

Fast forward to the 2026 class. Florida State will need more edge rushers. But they’ve set the floor for a four star defensive end at 2.5M. So any blue chip end will be asking for that or more. FSU’s NIL budget is not unlimited, so the people that they do sign will have to be lower end three star players. Or they will end up devoting the majority of their NIL funding to one position group for the foreseeable future.
