The difference between #13 in the rankings, and where the 'Canes are isn't that great. There's is a lot of parity in women's college basketball once you get beyond the top 8-10 programs. I wouldn't even call it a shock, Miami should have been in that game, the big difference was that Hof and Mompremier were able to play significant minutes, and combined to score 33 points. That's the one thing that held Miami back against Iowa State. Good win, let's see how they build on it. Can't afford to have a letdown after such a solid road victory.
