I don’t really fault Manny here. What do you want him to say? I suck at my job? I mean, that’s the answer (for his tenure) but I don’t expect him to toot that horn.

Once again, everyone hates the traditional media. Footballville/terminator X whoever have good content, but they no doubt love that Twitter attention that comes from their ambiguous insider drops.

If you don’t see it then idk man, let’s agree to disagree and move on

Would be nice but let's be real, it will not happen. Every time CMD steps in front of a mic from here on out, it will be part of his interview process for his next job. And believe me, if Blair or Blake or whatever the former LB coaches name is who got hired at LSU can land another job, so can Diaz.

15 years is understandably overbroad but he could've at least given an a answer for 5 years he's been here.

The correct answer, for the most part, is roster imbalances. The rankings do not take this into account. You can "win the recruiting wars" by signing a bunch of blue chippers at the same positions, but it won't mean your team is any better for it.

Think of Georgia a few years ago when they had like 3-4 5-star QBs on the roster at the same time. That will kill it with the recruiting rankings but at the end of the day only one QB can be on the field at the same time.

Miami has been notorious for unbalanced recruiting the past 15 years.

Can’t carry the burden. Lol. Man, if I wasn’t a Canes fan, I would want this dude here, too. Bro has been here for 1/3 of that time frame, but he can’t carry the burden. Lol.

I’m sure Manny or his fam reads this board, so I’ll just say:

Manny, my guy, u’re right; you shouldn’t have to carry the burden of the previous 9 yrs before ur tenure, but u’ve perpetuated this burden. To put it in a language u understand: You haveth takenth this programeth to never beforeth seeneth failureseth.
