35-12. Not us.
I hope you're right OP but I just don't see it with so many of our players out and the following factors working against us:We win. Basically, because everyone's predicting a victory for LA Tech, and I just have this feeling, we'll rally and muddle through with an ugly W. Also, we're playing a bunch of young guys and those youngsters will probably care. So, University of superior athletes nabs an ugly win after getting outcoached.
(4) Their head coach is also the son of the biggest Cane hater of all time, Lou Holtz--the same Lou Holtz who was blown out by Jimmy Johnson's Hurricanes 58-7 at the OB!
Correct. I think it was his last regular season game if I’m not mistaken.Gerry Faust was the ND coach in that beatdown, not Holtz.

You're right. I thought we blew out Holtz, but I was wrong, it was Faust.Gerry Faust was the ND coach in that beatdown, not Holtz.
I was at the game. It was very fulfilling sitting there having some old ND fan lecturing me about how I should be embarrassed by the display on the field of my team. Lol.You're right. I thought we blew out Holtz, but I was wrong, it was Faust.
Take point 5 and place it at 1. There is no need to do anymore of a list after that.I hope you're right OP but I just don't see it with so many of our players out and the following factors working against us:
(1) We're playing a good and hungry LaTech team aching for their 10th win, which would be the first time ever in program history I believe;
(2) This is a home game for them;
(3) My guess is their head coach Skip Holtz hates the Canes deeply as a 1986 ND alum;
(4) Their head coach is also the son of the biggest Cane hater of all time, Lou Holtz;
(5) Manny Diaz and Dan Enos are still our HC and OC.
God I hope I am wrong...GO CANES!!!
