Ladarius Gunter playing aggressive , with receivers not able to get off the jam. Knocking down Rodgers' passes and intercepting him. Media raving about him. This is what happens when UM talent is allowed to play smart and aggressive. Just another point to emphasize what and incompetent HC Al Golden is and how horrible a DC D'Onofrio is.

*Gunter, not Gunther

I'm not usually one to correct spelling, but it's the dude's name and you did it twice. C'mon man, the dude played here at the U

Once again, was there ever any doubt? Cat has a pro body, seems to me. Put him in the right situation, right team and competent coaches and he'll be fine. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he had a solid pro career. Not at all.

Hands down the most infuriating thing about Golden and staff is they do have a very good eye for talent. But they get the talent and use it in literally the worst way possible. Their scheme is so moronic you couldn't do worse if you tried to. Any NFL coach takes these kids and they shine immediately.

While I agree that it's just not working, it's been said on record from players and others that his scheme is basically an NFL scheme. It may be too complicated to run in college, but it's not inherently a bad scheme. It's damning that these players are shining once leaving here, but people say that they're basically running the same schemes they ran here.

I would say in some cases they do. Their eye for talent is overrated. And whatever talent they bring in they really don't know what to do with it. Guys have been drafted into the league despite the efforts of this staff in a lot of cases, seems to me.

Yeah, but to be fair he has played consistent when he was at Miami and made plays. They was talking him up to be and top 100 pick until he ran that slow 40... Gunter played very well here

BS! I don't see anybody in the NFL running this garbage.
A 3 man line on the GL?...LMAO!
It's utterly laughable that these bozos have a playbook for the crap we're seeing on the field, fuq these people.

It is an NFL scheme. But, its from the 1980s/1990s.

LD is a beast.

He just needed to get away from the toxicity that currently is UM football.

So why R U calling out L. Gunter as LD; he was never deemed Learning Disabled.
He did well here and held his own quite capably, not in any disabling manner.

It is Miami and there will always be talent here. There was great talent before Howard and still is. The difference is the coaching. Since Howard, and especially JJ, our players got a draft edge against even better talent from other schools because they came to NFL as basically third year players, not rookies. In NFL the saying was "if you are uncertain who to pick when your turn comes, tag the guy out of Miami at the position you need." Now we are on the other side, our players get knocked down because they are less prepared than other even with less talent. That hurts their wallets on draft day and chances to stick because the higher the draft pick the more slack team gives them.

Gunter will have nice career because he is a player and has size. If he was faster, dude might be star. I always thought he was our most consistent corner.
