Kosi should have been the starter from first game.

if enos calls the offense he called outside of VT and UNC, then it doesnt matter whos starting. weve seen perry get killed by sacks in the PA offense just as much as JW. if enos is calling the gun heavy offense (thats more spread) as he did with Perry and UNC, then well be fine. both QBs struggled w the deep ball and we both know perry can throw it deep, so theres an issue beyond arm strength there.

Kosi was great but he also got picked and had a second one which basically end the game if not reversed by penalty.

both have their warts. fans in here would ***** and moan had that pick counted and if perry throws more like those on friday (if he were to play). neither are perfect, but the OC doesnt help anyone be successful.

Jarrens best game was against UF, which in all honesty we should've won. He did his part against the Gators.

Hes regressed since then.

What's done is done. Cant get into the shoulda, woulda, coulda whether it's with starters or INTs.

5 should start from now on. Jarren is hobbled and doesnt push the ball even if hes not. You have a respected DC openly saying Jarrens arm is weak and Perry is a tougher defend.

It ain't that complicated.

Interesting:

They have no receivers or tight ends worth a **** this year and run the most vanilla run oriented offense you will see all year anyway. It's like watching paint dry. That being said how can you blame them with Swift, White, Cook, and Herrien splitting reps at RB.

Without seeing preseason practice, it's difficult to know. The 2 are polar opposites as QBs.

That OL is what Enos thinks he has here. Baffling.

Kosi's pick was the result of several factors:

1) An obvious missed PI call on VT defender against Brevin Jordan the previous play
and
2) The pressure to score thanks to the extreme hole that JW put us in with his lackluster play. If his shoulder is injured why is he playing?

perry is known to take those risks (hes done it last year too). its fine, thats just the risks he takes, but as ive said in the offseason, that perry is the most physically talented while jarren is the most polished

Sky is falling, sky is falling... I know the drill around here. 8-5 Might be the season we're looking at, at best. That being said, Van Dyke got an arm?

HE threw a pick because of something that happened the play before? And Jarren's first pick was caused by an uncalled PI.

Not advocating for either. Each comes with their own set of risk/rewards.

No, I am saying that had that PI been called, it would have been hlf the distance and 1st down. Playcall would have been a run.

For sure, but I think Perry can move around a bit more and at least has last year's experience of running for his life from Sacks...
Plus he'll actually try to throw deep balls which is nice...

I went to several of the practices this summer and came to the conclusion Perry should have been the starter. I stated that on this board several times all summer.

The fact these incompetent ***** watched these kids all spring and summer, and came to the conclusions they did at QB, O line, and other positions as well......was all the warning I needed.

This isn't going to get better. We're dealing with a staff that shouldn't be coaching at this level. We're also dealing with an administration which was incompetent enough to hire these guys. Don't blame Manny or any human being for taking a promotion or more money.....blame the ******** 1 and 2 levels up for not caring enough to make a better hire.
