Kosi Perry

He still can't read a defense. Couldn't/didn't in hs and still can't. Waste of a scholie. At least 10 freshman qb's starting for other schools. Move on to Williams and see what he can do. Otherwise next year is actually going to worse
That falls on the coaching staff. It's obvious, especially when the other QBs are struggling as well. Sad to say but Nkosi on another well-coached team would be a stud. We have ruined this kid. He's got the goods but this coaching staff is the worst I have ever seen at Miami, especially at the QB position.

Burden is on you bro. Please provide concrete examples of off-the-field incidents involving Perry. The only noteworthy event that I can recall is the video with the cash, for which he was cleared of any wrongdoing.

The things he struggles at are feeling pocket pressure and reading defenses. He has the raw talent and it’s not hard to see.

But when you combine those with poor development of the entire position in general, it looks like it’s N’Kosi’s fault.

His lack of development falls on Richt and Richt. His lack of confidence falls on Richt and Richt. His lack of leadership falls on Richt and Richt because they, as his mentors, lack leadership.

Yes, Kosi is not perfect, and he is the one making mistakes, but don’t go blaming it all on the kid when all it takes is to take a quick glance at his coaches and you’ll see where the real problem lies.
Exactly

And here we go again. We did the same **** with Coker, Shannon, and Golden. I'm not bashing any of these kids. It's all on the coaches. So for those that want to brag about knowing from the beginning that Perry was garbage, what does that say about the STUPID *** DECISION this year to basically recruit one QB that was a long shot to begin with? And don't give me that nonsense about Jarren Williams. What non-senile coach would think it's a good idea to basically pass on a QB this cycle when all you have that you trust is a true freshman QB that has yet to prove anything on the field? The problem is and has been Mark Richt. I'm wondering at this point if what he's doing is intentional.

Was at the game today.. Kosi is not the issue!! Richt and this offensive staff is lost. Offense experimented with motion for the first half. We don't know how to scheme around the motion yet. Langham and Wiggins running motion??? The middle of the field was open all game. Flats was open all game too. Our route combinations is lackluster. Duke played a lot of back off coverage (kill that with screens) Although the offense was bad, the team seem more amped up when 5 is in the game. Seems like our plays are designed to have one read. This is a system issue. Reminds me of how we ran a 3-4 with D'onofrio.

JUST STOP making excuses for Kosi. He blows. Period. Looked like an absolute deer in headlights last night. He was 5 for 16 with a 13.8 QB rating. Yes, thirteen point 8. He had zero field awareness, is completely incapable of even getting to a second read, locked onto his target from the snap EVERY SINGLE TIME he went to throw, threw at least a half dozen passes in the dirt or 10+ft off the target, you name it. He is far from this team's only problem, I'm not at all saying otherwise. But he was outplayed by rosier last night by a long mile, and yet Rosier wasn't any good either. Chew on that for a minute.

All of you Kosi slurpers who have been making him out to be a potential heisman-caliber stud who could single handedly turn this team around if CMR played him or he had better play calling, etc, need to take your head out of the **** sand. Kosi was absolutely completely totally ******* terrible last night! The team sucks. Richt sucks. Rosier sucks. But Perry sucks just as much as the rest of them. Classic 7 on 7 no pressure highlight kid. After watching him last night, he may actually be worse than Rosier, and that's really saying something. No, it wasn't the weather. No, it isn't Richt's fault that he pulled him in UVA. No it isn't a situation of "well at least he made some good throws" to continue trying to prop him up. Perry is a ******* bum on the field. Period. Him and Malik are the worst QBs to ever suit up in Orange and Green. I'm sick and tired of hearing excuses for Perry. No more. Put a fork in that kid, he is awful.

Based on what?!? He looks like absolute dogsh-it in games. Period. And he has been in Coral Gables for almost two years now. Those of you blindly defending Perry and coming up with one excuse after another for his downright dreadful play are the exact same as the Richt slurpers you criticize. Open your eyes, man, Perry is a ******* bum!

OMG. Don't burn that red shirt. Are you serious? U are living in the past. Good players stay for 3 years. Unless you are Clemson

Yes I’m very serious... You’ve gotta be stupid to burn the kid RS in a now meaningless season when Perry could just play all of next game and Williams get PT in the last 3 which would include the bowl game IF we make one without burning his RS. That’s the beauty of the new rule so why would you turn that advantage into a disadvantage and potentially ***** the kid out of a year?

There is zero reason to use his red shirt. He can play in 3 more games without burning it and we only have 4 left - assuming we even qualify for a bowl. Play him in 3 and sit him out in 1. Quite simple.
