Kosi Perry

The things he struggles at are feeling pocket pressure and reading defenses. He has the raw talent and it’s not hard to see.

But when you combine those with poor development of the entire position in general, it looks like it’s N’Kosi’s fault.

His lack of development falls on Richt and Richt. His lack of confidence falls on Richt and Richt. His lack of leadership falls on Richt and Richt because they, as his mentors, lack leadership.

Yes, Kosi is not perfect, and he is the one making mistakes, but don’t go blaming it all on the kid when all it takes is to take a quick glance at his coaches and you’ll see where the real problem lies.

I agree to a certain extent with the mentor and they have to develope him but it is not guaranteed he would have developed with the best offensive mind in the game. Some guys just don’t get it. We won’t ever really know unless richt gets fired or he transfers. Imo when you look like a deer in head lights you are proabably not ready and/or prepared for the moment and he definetly looked that way for every down of football he has played outside of the second half of FSU game.

He’s being mismanaged. He’s put in tough situations and not allowed to flourish. You put him in for the first time in 2 games in a massive rainstorm. You take him out only to put him in when you’re back is against the wall.

That’s not how you manage the qb position.

Perry may not be a world beater but he’s never been given a real opportunity.

You make good points. However I don’t even think it’s 100% about development. A huge part is development, but another skill of a good OC is hiding a player’s deficiencies. The Richt’s clearly can’t do that.

It is sad his way of hiding our QBs deficiencies is by running the ball. Come up with some creative screens or easy throws over the middle to the WRs and TEs

I could run a better offense from all my experience playing Madden. I’m only partially kidding.

And I also agree the only hope I have for the future of this program is if richt can put his pride aside and add a young smart offensive coordinator who is not related to him or his style of running the offense in any way.

He was God awful, the circumstances weren't good for him to be thrown in & then taken out for the whole game, only to be thrown back in again, but that doesn't excuse his missed reads & poor throws.

This season is a dumpster fire & None of the QB's we have are good enough to start here. This is looking like UGA's QB debacle right before Richt got fired.

We have not had a QB worth **** since Ken Dorsey! Please don’t mention Kayaa, the man was average at best! Perry, William Weldon, not the future

Seemed almost as if Richt heard the cries for Rosier to be benched, so he waits until a downpour to put Perry in. Then takes him out, only to put him in for the end of the game. The whole time I was watching this, I felt Richt was sending a message to the fans - "I will put your guy in when the already stacked odds are nearly impossible, carousel the qb position a bit until the end of the game, where I'll put your guy in to finish. Since you all think you know what to do better than I do, I'll make it so that I can say we lost doing what the fans asked to see".

It is incomprehensible that Perry was such a good HS qb and now he looks like crap. WTF is going on.

This is exactly what I said but got downvoted......a bunch of idiots on the board.

Parry couldn’t even complete screen passes to wide open receivers. He had easy throws he just didn’t make them.

What is his hand size? That's what I was wondering after those awful throws. Perry was out there when the conditions had improved dramatically yet he was still throwing balls into the dirt and seemingly having trouble making basic passes.

I hope we didn't recruit some kid with 8.5 inch hands

He was thrown into **** situations tonight which is baffling to begin with. The OL didnt help him at all. The special teams put the O in a bad position. The whole thing is a hot mess. 12 points at home against Duke? I dont know where we are or where we go from here.
