Kobe Smith 2016 DT As a Miami Prospect

Yeah well Miami and a few other schools were in it until OU took care of Nevilles family and their medical needs (his father is blind and his mom worked 2 jobs so you can't fault his choice) an Miami couldn't pay the cost to be in that race.

But like I said we will see what happens with Smith's recruitment moving forward. I am not going to get into it, I will just say some of Miami's support staff has started to lay the recruiting ground work by reaching out to Kobe Smith.

Big props to Miami's staff for stepping up their recruiting efforts regarding DT Kobe Smith; Al Golden and get this Art Kehoe are reaching out to the young man. The thing with Kehoe getting into the mix is an interesting twist, but lets see how this plays out, either UM needs to add some serious defensive beef to the 2016 class an Smith would be an excellent start.

So for those that doubt what I said, ya'll can kiss my butt. But since I am one of the first to ask for links or proof of something I will share a little more.

Smith talks with Golden and Kehoe via Direct Message on twitter (I love the irony that I mentioned a little birdie told me since twitter's icon is a bird!), I tell you what if ya'll further doubt me then you can take the time & go through both Golden's followers & following list an see if the kid is there on both sides.

So just because AG/ Kehoe follow Kobe and vice-versa means they DM and are actively recruiting?!

You've only been right on 1 DT over the years. And that DT was Courtel Jenkins. He's the only underrated recruit that has been you brought to the board and was offered.

Most of the time you just make up bull**** and regurgitate old articles that have little to no correlation between recruit and UM.

How do you know they DM ? Do you have any proof to back that statement up? Are you guessing that's happening because their all following each other on twitter?
 
I am simply sharing information I know and I am not outing my sources over some message board ***** waving contest to substantiate some keyboard tough guys. Ya'll don't have to believe what I share, life will still go on.

Kobe Smith is definitely what Miami could use in a NT, he plays with angry power and leverage at the point of attack.

I really hope we offer Smith. We already offered the 2017 kid Jamyest Williams. Anybody have film on that Evans kid? What a monster, certainly passes the eye test

2016 NT Kobe Smith is solidly committed to Kentucky for now but Mark Richt likes big linemen that can run which Smith fits the build. Richt will most likely make a run at Smith based on SMith's prior strong interest in Miami but it could be tough pull. Smith could feel jilted by Richt because of being slowed played while Richt was the HC at UGA (understandable so because there are better DT's in the state of Georgia this year).

As Miami's defensive is filled out, look for Miami to revisit the recruitment of Kobe Smith, except this time with more urgency.
