Know your Enemy - FSU Oline Coach Interview

We did not get great doing what others did. Lets worry about ourselves because that is our problem -- us getting horrible not other getting great. Our old teams would kick the crap out of Bama anytime Bama was ranked above us. Even game if we are ranked number 1 and getting panted on the backs. "It's all about The U" means exactly that.

seen clips of fsu early spring practices. Their ol are still bad...just big , fat, awkard dudes who look like they have trouble moving from the few clips i seen.

Not sure how they would work in fast pace offense as they looked pretty bad attempting last year.

Dont really care what this guy says they shouldnt have a tackle that can block our guys

OL has to be the toughest position to recruit. Kids rarely go up against equal size/competition so a kid can look like a beast, but he's really just facing inferior talent.

I'm not the resident O-line recruiting guru but it seems to me if you're scouting linemen, you're looking more at their coordination/athletic ability in high school rather than how they play during games. Obviously, you need guys with frames that can support 300lbs but I'd prefer to go after dudes with good feet, balance and coordination who may need a year or two in the weight room rather than the kid who's already 325lbs in high school and looks dominant because he just smothers a bunch of 185 lb defensive linemen. Of course there's the 5 star freaks who are already big strong enough to come in and play right away but those guys are the extreme outlier.

I don’t pay attention to FSU much did Norvell put Together anything good ?

lol to put things in perspective people thought Barnett would kill us last two years with Willie

Norvell didn’t bring his o-line coach with him cause he was promoted to head coach of Memphis. That was the main worry. Don’t know anything about this new guy tbh
