Am I the only one that thinks Stanford will be better than what everyone is projecting them to be???
I believe they will be better than 14-17 place in the ACC.
 
15th to 17th place isn’t exactly climbing out on. Slime— that’s where everyone expects them when the dust settles….
I’m not worried about this game one bit… their tune up versus Hawaii may not matter by the 2nd Q, crossing fingers there but I think k it’s highly likely we carve them up

They have some NFL talent on the offensive line. That should be a solid test for our DLine to start the season. Come ready to play, keep the foot on the gas, and go 1-0.

Respectfully disagree.

I don't care as much about "experience" as I care about TALENT.

They have TWO wide receivers with more talent than our "worst" WR. Every Miami TE except Jack Nickel is more talented than all of their TEs. Every Miami QB except Judd is more talented than all of their QBs. Four of our RBs are more talented than Sedrick Irvin.

On defense, Miami has 8 more talented DTs than Stanford's 2nd most talented DT. Miami has 7 more talented DEs than ALL of Stanford's DEs. Miami has 6 safeties more talented than Stanford's 2nd most talented safety. And Miami has 9 cornerbacks more talented than Stanford's 2nd most talented cornerback.

And what that means is Stanford has ONE talented guy at each of 4 positions, DT, DE, S, and CB. On offense, they just don't have much skill or depth at WR, TE, and RB.

In theory, anything could happen. But Stanford isn't about to out-talent us.

Posted a few days ago, there was apicture posted of their oline unit for end of camp that had their "fans" in uproar because of ton of their top guys were injured and it didnt look good.. ROUGH camp for their oline.. I mentioned it but many still seem unaware of how banged up they are.. Multiple starters out.. Couldnt find the pic but some comments
