I'd like to see more talent retention going forward. Meaning, our average age is way younger than I would expect with NIL keeping players here. Fletcher was a huge retention win. Imagine if Toney stayed for all 4 years!
 
Before underestimating them, remember we only beat them by 6 on our run to the CFP. Treat them like a threat and beat them like they owe us money.

It might be a temporary factor due to the expansion of scholarships. This class was fairly large and skewed the number down.

Also our starters have played a lot of games. Mensah, Fletcher, our top 2 WRs, Lofton, pretty much all our defensive starters. A couple OL spots and the third (and fourth) WR are up for grabs. But we have deep experience among starters overall.

This. And our goal is a natty if we win and get into the playoffs thats bigger and has more impact than winning any big rivalry game
