Eli Pancol is a guy to watch Saturday for sure.

Malik Murphy isn’t great but he can make enough throws to keep it close early. Has a 17:5 TD ratio. FSU held him to 70
Yards tho

These transfer ratings are hilarious.

Cam Ward, the best quarterback in the nation, was given a 94 rating.

Malik Murphy who’s 12th in passer rating in the ACC was given a 93 rating.

I’d take Emory Williams over Murphy

Miami can lose to anybody. Let me start by saying that. Miami can absolutely lose this game. But...

Here's the drive chart for SMU:

1: Fumble at Duke 4
2: Punt
3: TD
4: TD
5: INT
6: Fumble
7: Downs at Duke 1
8: TD
9: Punt
10: INT
11: INT
12: Fumble

So this game to me was absolutely crazy. They actually turned the ball over 7 times, not 6, if you count the turnover on downs at the Duke 1. And, 4 of the 6 turnovers happened inside SMU's own 40 and Duke scored 0 points off those turnovers. In fact, Duke scored 0 points of all of SMU's turnovers.

The ineptitude of Manny to not win this game is absolutely astounding. I honestly think this may be one of the biggest botches in college football history.

Can we lose? Sure. But it will be because Miami absolutely imploded.

Fold the program, close the school, raze Coral Gables, and then salt the Earth.

I'm concerned about this game. Maybe it's PTSD due to the last 20+ years. It's a noon start. Manny will have his team motivated for revenge for being ****canned. I can see him looking at this as his FIU (Butch Davis) moment and ruin our undefeated season. If we play the way we are capable of and match their energy we'll win going away as the numbers reflect. However, our defense leaves us vulnerable to any team with a pulse and people have been getting to Cam a lot lately. Hopefully the offense and running game is working again this week.

To put it in perspective. Miami has turned the ball over 7 times this season total.

8 if you count the one 4th down we didn’t convert

Manny's downfall at Duke, and why they won't beat us and why I expect to boatrace them, is because he probably has the worst coordinator duo in America in the P4.

Patke - not sure he should be in the P4 as a coordinator. G5 type of guy. Manny is holding his hand. They have good defensive personnel that was coached well under Elko and they're playing like it. Manny/Patke will catch up to them in a few years.

Jonathan Brewer - never called plays before Duke. Spent his entire career following Lashlee as an analyst and SMU put him on staff as QB coach and co-OC for 1 year. Then, he gets to Duke and the offense doesn't even look like a Lashlee offense so that tells me he's trying to do his own thing. They've been horrible and they actually have decent personnel. Their OL has been good, Murphy is a capable QB, Thomas is a quality RB, and they have a receiver group that is respectable, led by an all-conference guy in Jordan Moore. But no results to show for any of it.

Lashlee would have this offensive personnel scoring 35+ per game. Instead, they're sitting at 26 per game.

Im not so sure on boat racing them. Maybe it’s the sports pessimist in me but I think they have enough offensively to exploit this poor defense we continuously trot out. Feel like aslong as you have a competent QB and some decent skill position players, this defense will give up opportunities

According to their 247 board, Murphy gets the ball out on average in just over 2 secs. They aren't sure if that's because he's told to get it out after 1-2 reads or if he just doesn't have time for more....
