Tbh, I have no clue how this team will stack up against teams in that #8-20 range, but we can go .500 in those contests this upcoming season, no reason to think we can’t be a perennial playoff team come 2024. With conference realignment and more TV exposure, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a talent decline in SEC’s second tier. While our roster talent has yet to ripen, on paper, we should be able to be the likes of USCe, Arkansas, and Ole Miss. I’m ready to believe that we can take the next step and have a statement game against ATM. That coupled with a bowl win would be our best since 2018.

I think that 2nd tier is attainable! Also, agree on playoffs consistently after this year....in a winner take all anything can happen!

True. Our lowest ranking wide receiver (Young) was our most productive.

And if you look at 247’s transfer portal list, sometimes there is a vast difference between their high school score and their transfer score.

Absolutely. We’ve seen it go both ways (up/down) when someone transfers out.

Where at all possible, for portal players I am using their transfer ratings.

Obviously im not the first to mention this, but...

My first takeaway is our side is composed of ~82 players

Their side is composed of ~96 players.

I tried again today to have a look at who had left but didn’t really find much. I agree - the numbers are inflated.
